Setting a Default Attachment Type

A default attachment type is available for each Attachments list:

  • In each list, an attachment description can be chosen as a default, although it is not required.

  • If a default is not set, when adding attachments to the corresponding area of PharmaClik Rx (e.g. the Patient folder), the Attachment Description dropdown list displays in alphabetical order .

 

To set a default attachment type, do the following:

  1. Select More > List Maint.
  2. Select an Attachments list from the dropdown list at the top of the window (see Attachments Lists for an explanation of the lists).
  3. Select the Default checkbox for the option that should be defaulted each time a new attachment is added to the corresponding area of PharmaClik Rx.
  4. Select the OK button.
